We’re proud to share that this project is part-funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. Cornwall Council is responsible for managing projects funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund through the Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly Good Growth Programme.

This support is enabling us to invest in a new processing facility for liquid egg, helping us remain at the forefront of ethical, high-quality egg production in the UK. Learn more about our produce or meet our farmers.

Our Progress

• July 2025: We’ve worked hard to select our equipment suppliers and develop a process which we believe will let us offer the highest quality liquid egg. The build is underway, and we are eggcited for first equipment tests towards the end of the summer.
• October 2025: Two visits to Italy, many hours looking at equipment and running through tests and trials, and both the Pasteuriser and filling line completed their Factory Acceptance Tests meaning they can be broken down, packed up and begin the long road trip to Cornwall. Apart from signing off the machine the teams got to eat Tiramisu in the home of the iconic pudding - you can't work for St. Ewe and not love your food!
• December 2025: Exciting but long days as the equipment arrived on site over a period of weeks, and was carefully unloaded form endless containers. Fantastic skill and teamwork shown to get it all into place safely and on time.
• March 2025: First egg through the newly commissioned line! The first trials could not have gone and the time and effort put into the line has paid off with a great quality egg product, even before optimisation. The excitement is building in the team, and there's a real buzz around the business as "firsts" are ticked off!
